i have started Apache server in my network room
and samba too. i have designed a site too for users in my class
now could andyone tell me
how can a user will be checked bywin98 machine when he try to login the server
means if a user want to simply start the win98 machine his password
would be varifyed by the root at linux server
and if he do not enter a proper password he will be discarded to login in the win 98 machine
ok i had done how to kick off those users who don't enter there password at only win 98 machine
now tell me how to authenticate them by linux samaba serverAlok

You need to setup a pdc with your Samba server. This will allow you to create a domain master.
