Hi , I have lost the "Micrsoft sound" on startup in Win 98se ,also the sounds on AOL like "you have e mail" "and goodbye".
I can go into control panel/sound properties, click on the preview and the sounds are there. My cd's also play. I can live with this, but I would like to know why this I happening and pehaps put it right

Thanks John....
