Operating System Version:XP Home
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:emachines T2040 40GB hdrive 512MB ram
Error Messages:When no ones used the pc for awhile after you touch the mouse it wakes up and goes to the user accounts page. Theres always a virus message there pertaining to the Downloader.Lalus.A virus. I use AVG antivirus and it doesn't find it after running it and now I downloaded an evaluation antivirus program called Sophos. It detected 7 viruses and deleted them, BUT, the Lalus.A virus message keeps appearing. When you click OK it disappears and I don't ever see anything wrong with the processes that everyone is using but the message still appears.
Does anyone know what to do to stop it from doing that?
Thanks, Jim
