PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Win2k SP4
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Asus CRW-5232AS
Error Messages:

Brand new everything, Inserting ANY disk into CDRW Drive brings slow spin then constant light (disk present) but disk isn't readable.  If I Restart with a disk inserted- right before the shutdown part of the Restart the drive spins at full speed, then after Restart the drive works fine.  Drive set secondary Master by jumper, Bios & Device Manager see it fine, even when it's not working.  Have tried removing CD Drive & IDE channel in Device Manager and allowing re-install but no change.  The CD Drive properties doesn't show enable autoplay or auto insert notification tick box, not sure if Win2k doesn't have that.
