PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:XP PRO
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model: CDRW-DVDR SAMSUNG
Error Messages: Device not found



this how it goes, my cd drive was wrking fine yesterday, now xp says it isnt there, its powering up, ive installed the driver and put in a new leed if anybody can help i will worship you as a god

If you are still having problems try this:

right click my computer
select properties
select hardware
then select device manager
on this list find the dvd/cdrom drives section click the +
find the troubled drive right click on it and uninstall.
then restart your pc.
when it boots up your system will or should find your device again and self install.
