I run 1 comp at home with winxp on it and one upstairs with ME Edition on it. I want to wirelessly connect the 2 computers to share files and internet broadband from NTL. Whats the cheapest and cost effective way for me to network the computers? I would also looking to have a laptop occasionally on the laptop>? ANy help?

well the cheapest way would be to Buy a hub, 3 strat throught cables, and some network cards. put the hub in the middle of the network and have each computer run a cable into the hub, then you just configure the protocols.  althought windows Xp will take care of this for you(I have had networking XP with ME though so it might be tricky)
