This is for a friend so i don't have all the manufacturer information onhand, but it might not be important anyway. The problem is that when the computer is on, the monitor loses the signal or something and turns off then on, and off, and on over and over again.  They tried a few different monitors, but the problem happened again after about a week.  Then we found that when the cord was bend in a certain way we would get a signal.  I replaced the video card and it worked, but then the problem returned after a few days.  I am completely stumped this time.  Anybody ever have this problem or know what to do?

Hi ZH,
It's most likely a defective monitor cable that hooks up to the video card.
Take care.
