PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:red hat 9
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:umax astar slim 1200
Error Messages:


dear friends
kindly let me know how to confegure the scanner named umax astra slim 1200 with my redhat 9 machine
here configuration means i had just plugled the scanner with the pc
now what?Huh? should i do
plzz help me

To get your scanner going, you need to install an application called sane.

Give this link a try.

It seems that the newest version of sane has some beta drivers for you scanner. I little patients and it should be support shortly.
