PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:   Windows
Problem Application Name & Version:  Scansoft / Paperport
Problem Hardware Make & Model:  Brother DCP-1000
Error Messages:   "Cannot Install this hardware"
"The required sections was not found in the INF"
and another box "This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)"

Hardware Wizard keeps coming up with this.  I am not convinced I have the proper driver.  It SUPPOSE to be on a download I saved from the Brother site off of the internet.

HA. That a big joke.

I have a fine printer and copier,  but no Scanner.  That's what I bought it for.  An outdated disk came with the DCP-1000.  That's what was loaded.  They did send me an updated one.  That's a joke..  It is ditto as before and no changed.  Still no scanner.

Any device drivers you know about for this?
Thanks in advance.
