Operating System Version: Windows XP home
Problem Application Name & Version: CDRW
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Hello everyone - I hope you can help me with this!  I'm fairly new to the PC thing and have been using CD-R's for music etc.  I recently purcahsed some CD-RW's and have copied stuff to one of them.  When I tried to re-write over this disk, I had an error message saying the disc was full and needed to be cleared before it could be used again.  How do I clear the RW disc??

I have a Dell Dimension 4600 running windows XP home

I'm sorry if this is a bit too basic but I'm hoping someone will know the answer....  I appreciate your help! Kiss

Hi Nikki,
You need to format the cd in order to erase what's on it.Try nero 6,part of nero is in-cd which will format a cd.It has a 30 day trial version.
Take care.
