I have no problem aphabetizing my Start Menu Programs items, but when I right click in Favorites, there simply is no Sort By Name to click on. Is there perhaps another way to alphabetize my favorites list?

Thanks in advance.

Actually, that is the link in my post. I wanted to reply to that thread. For some reason I did not learn yet, there is no Sort By Name to click on in Favorites on my IE install. Just got back from helping someone with a PC prob at her house, and the same is so with her Favorites. She also uses WinXP and IE6. I cannot figure out how to alphabetize the list.

Many thanks for the reply.

I'm not a big user of IE, but try this
Click on Fovorites on the toolbar,
In a blank spot in the drop down of your favorites
Right click----Sort by Name

This may be your problem...Don't click on the Icon Favorites, but click
on the Text "Favorites"

EG....In the toolbars, File  Edit  View Favorites
When you click on Favorites and it expands-----right click beside
one of the favorites and Sort by Name

Hilarious. Yah, I was trying to do it where Favorites opens up along the side of the screen instead of in the drop down menu.

Thanks very much indeed for helping me out, benditup! I am grateful for that.
