PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:98se
Problem Application Name & Version:ie6
Problem Hardware Make & Model: compaq-5900t
Error Messages:can not uninstall ie6


Ie6 is not working much any more-web pages will not load[2out of 10] 404 errors action cancelled. Can not remove from add and remove programs says can not restore to previous verison damaged files. The verison came preloaded. Quick Restore no longer works. Repairing ie6 does nothing. Help

Hi CT,
Use ieradicator to remove ie6.Make sure you d/l ie6 sp1 before removing ie6,This way you can reinstall it afterwards.Also,make sure you back up your favorites cause this will delete them also.

Hi:
I tried accessing the site "http://www.webattack.com/get/ieradicator.shtml"
I get a display "Page Not Found"
Is the address changed? Pl let me know. I wanna remove ie6 (PAIN in THE NECK) and go for earlier ver of IE (5.5 or so)

Have you ran Adaware and Spybot Search and Distroy to see if you have any unwanted adware??
Are you sure it's IE6 thats causing the problem?

You could run HiJackThis and have someone check your logfile.
