PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: windows xp pro
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

I recently bought a new PC (AMD 2600+ processor) supplied with 80GB hard drive. I put my old hard drive in to use as a secondary drive, also 80GB but BOIS & Windows both keep saying its only 31GB.
Clearly I don't need a BIOS Flash as its recognising my main drive as 80GB.....any ideas/suggestions?

Has the old drive got a partition on it ?? Are the slave jumpers set correctly.Has it been formated and XP installed on it.Try changing the drives over and see if is recognised. But being as it is from another system there is a chance that it may not boot up if it has not been formated.
