The time/date parameters all seem fine.  I've run AVG on my system, no viruses, etc.  Have problem with Active X Controls on certain web sites.  I'm wondering if there is a connection, since Java is a web-based program.  Some pages don't display properly.  I have re-installed the new Sun Systems Java once already, but the same problem comes up with Scandisk.
Thanks.
