hey, how would i totally erase everything on my harddrive so i can start out fresh? i was reading that sometimes when you get viruses, you need to totally erase everything to get rid of it. When i reinstalled windows, all i do is delete my partition and then reformat a new one, but i dont think that is enough. my pc keeps freezing up on me for about 10 sec and then goes back to normal only to do it again a couple min later. thanks

Well, the only thing i got from that website(if i understood it) is to delete my partition and reformat another one, which i have done before. So does that mean, that doing so will delete everything and let you start out fresh or do I need a program to delete everything?
