Hi, I'm using windows xp pro. My computer has been running very slowly lately, I pressed Ctrl, Alt, Del and by pressing the processes tab I discovered that 1 program, Drg to Dsc.exe was using 99% of the cpu. I closed Drg to Dsc and the 99% then moved to something called system idle process, and the computer worked much better.  Basically I have two questions, firstly is it possible to stop Drg to Dsc starting up every time I turn on my pc, which it does at present? And secondly does it matter that system idle process is using 99% of my cpu?

Any help appreciated

Ian

This appears to be something to do with Roxio ECDC software - disable it in MSCONFIG, and only use it when you need to (It's the Drag-to-Disk option)
