PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows ME
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: 0E:016F:BFF8E64B

Whenever I try and open Internet Explorer I get the egg-timer as my cursor for a few seconds, then nothing happens... The same thing happens when I try to open windows media player and real one player, but everything else seems to be opening ok.

Also I keep getting a blue screen with an error message - it has the error code 0E:016F:BFF8E64B, and says to press enter to return to windows, but it just goes straight back to the same blue screen so I have to keep restarting.

I would be so grateful for any help or ideas anyone can give me!

Try a Repair of Internet Explorer from Add/Remove Programs - while in Safe Mode.
See if that helps
