using windows xp professional, on a pentium 4 1.6,using 2 hard drives.
I want to use a DVD burner, DVD rom and a CD burner. How do I need to hook these up as I do not have any more IDE connections. And which device is best set as master or slave etc.

you'll need to buy an PCI raid card.. if you have an extra PCI slot in your mother board.. and you'll need to set your HD with the window on it to be the primary master and you can set the second HD as primary slave... and you can set the other Drive either way you want but i would recammend.. setting the DVD burner as secondary master and your CDRW as the slave and add the DVD drive on the raid... by the way you shouldn't burn CDR on your DVD burner as it will kill your DVD burner a recommendation...

Hi,

If you have already bought them then its too late, but if you haven't u don't need to have 3 separate drives.  You can just have one drive. ie. dvd-burner/rom/cd-burner.

That is the easist and cheapest way.
