PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Windows 2000 Professional
Problem Application Name & Version: Outlook 2002
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Custom built AMD Athelon 2.7 ghz
Error Messages:  SERver Not available

I connect to my Web/file/mail server using VPN from my home. I start Outlook 2002 and it comes up and I check my mail. After that if I leave Outlook as it is or minimize it, later after some time, I have not checked exactly after how much time, when I try to check my new mail, outlook hangs. Then i need to disconnect VPN , and do it all over again. Or even if I close outlook and without disconnecting VPN, if I try to invoke outllok after some time, it gives me error Microsoft exchange server unavailable ?

Can any one suggest solution to my problem

thanks
