Operating System Version:windows 98se
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:conexant 56k internal modem V90
Error Messages:


I recently installed a new hard drive as my old one had errors on it.However after i reinstalled windows and all the drivers my modem is now not working.everything else is working fine.When AOL starts to initialise the modem the computer displays a error message and then crashes or freezes,or nothing happens and AOl doesnt respond.I clearly remember not touching the modem at all during the hard drive installation.The modem is PCI internal.any help anyone?

you may need the driver for your modem, or an updated driver, try running windows update, or try going to the modem manufacturers website for an updated driver. go into device manager and make sure your modem doesnt have an error. hope this helps Smiley
