Operating System Version:Windows XP
Problem Application Name & Version:ANy download server
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

Can someone help me figure out what happened to my ability to connect to additional servers such as EQ- Lineage, or just bill sites where I am redirected. The tech at EQ told me to disable all start up programs from msconfig, and since that I can't connect. Did I lose something I needed? I read something about editing host files, but I don't remember doing this. Please help. THanks, Balldog

You'll have to be much more specific. What type of server is EQ lineage? Web server? File server? Is it on the Internet or your local network?  What web browser are you using, if any? What is the error message when you try to connect?

Have you installed any software or hardware recently? Changed any settings? Do you use high speed? What type? Modem? Do you have a router/firewall? Software or hardware model? What type of modem?
