Opti.riviera.cc is on the CWShredders blacklist

You may want to try downloading the latest version of CWShredder
and save to disk----with ALL other windows closed down
run CW and let if FIX all problems
RESTART your computer and then post another Fresh Hijackthis log.
There is still more to clean up......

You have some decisions to make
Not sure what you use for P2P sharing but I would
Go into your Add/Remove programs via Control Panel and find and Remove
the following
P2P networking ---It's considered spyware and doesn't need to run on startup

Do another Scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries
and then Fix Checked

O2 - BHO: NavErrRedir Class - {00D6A7E7-4A97-456f-848A-3B75BF7554D7} - (no file)
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART

O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Restrictions present
O6 - HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel present
These two were probably set by Spybot, this is why your home page is locked and greyed out

O9 - Extra 'Tools' menuitem: Erotic... (HKLM)
O16 - DPF: {1D4DB7D2-6EC9-47A3-BD87-1E41684E07BB} - http://ak.imgfarm.com/images/nocache/funwebproducts/ei/SmileyCentralInitialSetup1.0.0.8.cab
O16 - DPF: {1D6711C8-7154-40BB-8380-3DEA45B69CBF} (Web P2P Installer) O16 - DPF: {56336BCB-3D8A-11D6-A00B-0050DA18DE71} (RdxIE Class) - http://207.188.7.150/116646f7787c6dd8d122/netzip/RdxIE601.cab

Restart your computer and delete these files or folders
They may be hidden, this is how to show them
http://www.xtra.co.nz/help/0,,4155-1916458,00.html

C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking <---- this folder

I can find no info on these items, do you know what they are

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [furwj] C:\WINDOWS\furwj.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [cpwdcxkb] C:\WINDOWS\cpwdcxkb.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [fgp] C:\WINDOWS\fgp.exe

Could you please navigate to them and right click on them select properties and get any info you can.... If you know what they are post
back.
If you don't know what they are could you go here and upload them and
do a scan on each individual file
http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus.html

Post back a Fresh Hijackthis log afterwards

the problem seems to be cured. I have also ,as advised, downloaded Startpage Guard to protect my home page from now on.
The P2P seems to be part of Kazaar and will not delete.
I am posting latest scan below. everything seems to be fine now.
Unless you see any problems on the report I am happy and would like to thank everyone for the help given.

I would dump kazaa---it's full of spyware itself
You can probably start in safe mode and rid yourself of it
or get a utility called Kazaabegone or manually uninstall Kazaa in safe mode and P2P networking

I don't see the top of the log, but urge you to do one
more scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to this entry
and then fix checked

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [P2P Networking] C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking\P2P Networking.exe /AUTOSTART

Restart in safe mode-- the link will explain how
http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2001060608000039?OpenDocument&ExpandSection=4#_Section4

Find and delete this folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking <-----this folder

Uninstall Kazaa in safe mode from Add/Remove programs
Do another scan with Spybot while in Safe mode and fix everything in Red

Restart your computer and let me know how your doing

If you really, really need a Spyware free file sharing program
look for Kazaa Lite++

http://www.techtv.com/unscrewed/ihateyou/story/0,24682,3534257,00.html

some info on P2P networking
http://www.kephyr.com/spywarescanner/library/p2pnetworking/index.phtml

You can use Google and find other opinions also

This one may have been set by spybot, if so fix it, if you don't want it
set.

Restart your computer,

You may also want to look into a prog called SpywareBlaster
Install----update----check for updates every couple of weeks or so
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

How's everything!
