Operating System Version: 2k
Problem Hardware Make & Model: HP Pavilion 4530
Error Messages: none

I want to upgrade my Harddrive, here is my problem, do I need to stay with a limit (size wise) my current HD is 4gb (now you know why I want more )
I searched offline stores and smallest is 40 GB
searched HP find my specs
and how to replace Hard drive
even how to Install 2nd HD
but nothing on how big a HD I can use...HP is no help because they want me to purchase from them Sad and I have no faith in them since they are the ones that told me there is NO WAY I could upgrade from 98se to 2000.
I have flashed my BIOS and it is now
revision 1.10 12/22/99 if that is any help

EDIT cancel this post...problem was answered on another forum
and successfully installed new harddrive
