Besides data and file , can applications and program be backed up by the utility ? Thanks

Hi,

What utility are you talking about?

You can do a full system backup to do a full system restore if the utility supports it. You cannot restore a Windows application from a backup because most Windows application have entries in the registry and DLLs in the Windows folder.

If your looking to do a full system backup/restore, look into an hard drive imaging utility like Ghost (Symantec), either burn the image to CD(s) or buy a second hard drive to store the image.
