hello guys !
these days while i was teaching one of my student make a smart mistake i don't get any clue see the problem and suggest any clue

actually i just went out for some offical work and a student is assembling the pc make this trouble
any way the message at booting time is
CMOS checksum error Press F1 to continue after poking my nose there i get this the processor is 1.2 GHz and he is using 10 GB HDD and in case we just press f1 the computer will boot and goes to dos prompt and afterwards in case i want to set my booting sequence first for CDD and no FDD assigned and save the BIOS settings and return the Booting phase the error message again displayed
so i opened the BIOS again and i got surprised that the booting sequence is again at IDE0 (NOTE i had changed it before) and there is a FDD showing 1.44MB (i had changed this also )
i tryed to set the processor speed
but all in vain now i can't set the BIOS settings
help help
hope i could get the help frm here

Well Mr. sandy they said that it might be case of currupted BIOS
well i will check them

this site says that you must check the battery/power suply /motherboard
i had already checked them they are quite well
i think i will check the settings i will report you afterworkds

Hi A,
Your hard drive should be on the primary as master.Change it & reboot,then tell me if you still get the error message.Also,I would change the cmos battery even though the old one may have checked good.

Hello Mr. Sandy i had checked the Cmos battery lavel it found ok says 3.0 vol but to remove the chances i replaced it with new one but no improvement
any other clue

Try moving the hard drive to the primary ide cable.
