Hi, I would like to know of any software that monitors which programs are accessing my hard drive, I often hear it clicking away when not much is open, I'm not sure which program is accessing it or if it's just the swap file.

Please let me know where to get such a program!! Cheers.

You might also want to read up on these links for applications running in the background:

http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/application/
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/security/
http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/system/
To look at these processes, right click on an empty spot on your task bar and choose Task Manager, or just use the famous "Ctrl-Alt-Delete".
Under the Processes tab, you'll find applications that are currently running.
