Operating System Version:Window Xp pro
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:Error deleting file or folder

i wanna delete a picture file but this error msg came out:
error deleting file or folder
cannot delete pic_0024: data error (cyclic redundancy check)

now this picture i cant open and delete... i try Command Prompt to delete but it cannot work also so want can i do now to remove the file...

cyclic redundancy check is usually a hard-drive problem.
Bad sectors, hard drive could be dying also.

You should back up all your files just incase.
Re-boot and try running scandisk or even chkdsk.
If you know the hard-drive manufacturer, you should visit their website to see if they have a diagnostic tool.
