Problem Application Name & Version:Internet explore
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Gateway
Error Messages:none

my sister called me with a problem on her 2 computers. someone deleted the internet explorer on her desktop. how can she retrive this back to her desktop without a shortcut, versions me and 98. please help;D

She did this to both computers?  How in the world did she manage that?  Ask her what she did to remove the IE shortcut from her desktop.  If I remember correctly, it isn't possible to do that in Windows 98 without a program like Tweak UI or a registry hack.

She needs to reverse the steps she took to remove the icon in order to put it back.

As a side note:  Ha ha ha ha ha!  I love it!  I don't use IE myself and I haven't seen that icon in ages....of course I'm running XP now and it's very simple to remove the icon.  I got quite a boot out of this. Grin
