Operating System Version:xp home
Problem Application Name & Version:all capture software
Problem Hardware Make & Model:sony trv 33e mini dv
Error Messages:

please help
i have athalon xp3200, 512mb , 160g hard drive ...
software tried include ulead video 7,nero,windows media

when i purchased my camera i plugged it in and everything was fine..
but since trying to capture from cam all software freezez (ie) splash screen then a long pause before program opens .. but unable to capture from device..
have tried cam on another pc and eveything is fine..
have updated all software
and comp says firewire has no probs and driver is compliant

does any 1 have a suggestion as to what is wrong
i am thinking of adding aseperate firewire card but not shure that this will help as the current firewire is direct from motherboard
