PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:winows xp home
Problem Application Name & Version:ulead video 7,nero,windows movie maker
Problem Hardware Make & Model:sony trv33e mini dv
Error Messages:



when i connect my cam to my computer windows ask me what i want to do via the pop up box
i select ulead video 7 ... the splash screen appears and seems to hang for some time ... then prog opens but fails to load firewire.. computer is very sluggish untill i turn camera off

my comp is fairly new athalon xp3200, 512mb ,120gb
have tried nero capture and window movie maker but with same result ,camera works fine on friends comp so its not hardware related i dont think ...

please help !!!!
