WIN XP is OS.  Windows Explorer is my browser and Outlook Express is my mail program.  I can send mail to others and the mail shows up in "Sent."  I am receiving mail from others OK as the mail appears in the "Inbox" folder. When I send mail to myself (to check things out before sending to others) the mail shows up in "Sent" Ok;  but when I try to receive it doesn't show up in the "Inbox" but rather in the "Delete" box. Can someone explain this and how I can correct it?

You should check your Mail Rules for the answer. You must have made a rule about receiving mail under your email address to put it in the deleted folder.

Thank you. Went to Tools area and found it. Unchecked the box and all is well again. Sure wish I knew what put the check mark in there. I know for certain that I did not.  Thanks again.
