PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: Win XP
Problem Application Name & Version: Explorer
Problem Hardware Make & Model: n/a
Error Messages: "G:\xxxx is not accessible. Access is denied"

hello.

i recently built a new computer, and on it, i installed a SCSI drive from an another computer onto the new one. This older system was not mine, so my familiarity is poor, but it seems that, on the SCSI, there existed a folder under then name of each user on the old computer (on its master HD). In setting up the older one to use for someone else, i deleted those users not knowing that there would be a potential relationships between the users and the SCSI drive.

now the problem is that i can no longer access those specific folders on the new computer. it gives me the above error message, so i am unable to access or modify the folder at all. is there a way i can fix this? i considered bringing the SCSI back to the older computer, but since the users have been deleted, i'm not sure it will work.

please help. any suggestions appreciated.

thanks
