PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:XP Professional
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:Logitech QuickCam Messenger
Error Messages:None

Both computers are running XP Professional on Broadband. Both users have the same Logitech QuickCam Installedand have run the Wizzard Tune Up. However the audio is almost drowned out by a screeching feedback noise whic makes conversation very difficult. I have also tried with a headset but makes no difference.

Incidentally for people not using Zone Alarm or behind a firewall and still not able to get any audio the following may help
Open Control Panel
Right click on Netwotk Connections
Left click on the network Icon
Open Properties
If you see QOS Package Scheduler uncheck it and restart the computer.

dinpens:

Have you checked all the microphone inputs, volume controls, and all the other audio controls in the various mixer programs?

When you get this screeching feedback, is your cam/microphone facing itself? That could cause a feedback loop, which can be very scary!
