Operating System Version:
Windows XP Home Edition
Problem Application Name & Version:
Software based, I believe. .dll file corruption maybe?
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
none.
Error Messages:
:: The procedure entry point ?GetObject@Provider@@MAEJPAVCInstance@@JAAVCFrameworkQuery@@@z could not be located in the dynamic link library framedyn.dll ::

The above error message appears when I look at the System information either by right clicking My Computer and hitting properties, or by doing a Start, Control Panel, System.
I in all my years have never seen something like this. I always worked with Windows 98, and last night I formated and put on Windows XP, and I am learning a few new things. It doesn't really seem to cause a problem more than a nuisance, I can still access my system information. This is an error I have no idea about so your help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here are my computers stats:
1.0 GHZ AMD Duron Processor
19.0 GB Hard Drive
512 MB RAM
GeForce FX 5200 128 MB Video.
Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

That's all the important stuff. =P

no.. im sorry, I'm afraid the website you gave me didn't help me. It still gives me that long response, and both of the tasks it had me do didn't accomplish anything. Thank you for your input, however, it was most apprieciated.

Hi DT,
I would reinstall winxp again, but instaed of formatting first & putting xp on.I would fdisk first, then format, then reload winxp.
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=KB;en-us;q255867

You'll need a win98 or winme startup disk to fdisk. Then go into the bios & set the first boot to cd rom,put in the winxp cd & restart the computer.Just follow the prompts.
Take care.

BTW,
You don't need to follow the instructions for "format" in the link that I posted, the winxp will format for you.
