I want to replace my video card from a Nvidia GEForce 2MX400 with a Nvidia FX5200,Do I just unplug one and plug in the other? any bios adjustments etc?
I also wish to go from 256MB DDR to 512MB DDR. Can I add another 256 stick or have to get one 512 stick? anything else about this upgrade I should know?

Great site by the way and thanks.

Hi Wayne,
You need to uninstall the Nvidia GEForce 2MX400 first.Go into the "device manager(instructions are in your other post),click the "+" next to "display adaptors" & right click the video card & uninstall it.Then shut down the computer & unplug it.Remove the side panel & grab the bare metal with both hands to discharge any static electricity. Then remove the Nvidia GEForce 2MX400 & install the  Nvidia FX5200.Put the side panel back on,plug in the computer & fire it up.
Take care.
