Operating System Version: XP
Problem Application Name & Version: N/A
Problem Hardware Make & Model: Pioneer DVR-104
Error Messages:

Just got hold of a Pioneer DVR-104 DVD-Rom drive.

I installed as per usual, setting it up as the master and resetting my CD-RW drive as the slave. I connected the audio cable that was previously in the back of the CR-RW. Audio CDs play fine in both drives, but when i insert a DVD and play that, i get no sound what so ever! Tried plugging headphones into the socket in the front of the DVD drive, but nothing there either!
Video is fine for the DVDs, but the audio is missing in any i try. Please help before i start tearing my hair out!

Thanks in advance,
