PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version: 98SE
Problem Application Name & Version: Quicktime 6.5 Pro
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: Hang & Crash

Hi,

I right click on any SWF file and I see the splash screen for Quicktime Media Layer load and then nothing, hang, then GP fault, then system hang. All icons disappear from desktop and then only some in systray come back!

I remove quicktime, all OK and still see flash screen, briefly.

Re-install QT and problem comes back.

Is there a codec issue here?

Any relevent suggestions welcome.
