Hi Cos,
There are many things that'll cause a computer to freeze.A hardware or software issue,a bad stick of memory. Most of the time,it's caused by a heat issue.First,go to radio shack or any place that sells canned air.Shut down & unplug the computer.Take the side panel off.Grab the bare metal with both hands to discharge any static electricity. Then clean out all the dust & naimal dander(if you have pets). Then blow out the rest with the canned air, also blow out the faf in the back by the power supply. Then plug in the computer & turn it on.DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING INSIDE.Look at the fan on the cpu & make sure it's running steadily, not slowing down & speeding up.If it's runnimg steadily, then shut down the computer & put the side panel back on.Turn it on & post back if this helped or if it still freezes.
Take care.
