I want to turn off those little boxes that appear when you move the mouse over objects. I managed to turn them off for folders but now want to turn them off in Internet Explorer ( especially over the favourites)

I think they're called alt tabs.

A reply of any kind would be nice - even 'push off'

Right-click the start button and click properties. Click Customize, Click Advanced and uncheck "Open SubMenus when I pause on them with my mouse" and "Highlight newly installed programs"
