Give us a little more info:
Operating System?
Which Anti-Virus application?
Did the App not ask you if you wanted it Repaired?

I have a Dell 2000 computer.  When I run the winantivirus check it scans all the files and it says I have a suspected virus.  You can't click on Fix because it isn't highlighted.  I use outlook express for my e-mail.  I also teach online courses so I receive quite a few e-mails from students, and sometimes I have to open attachments they send.  My problem is since the winantivirus suspects a virus, why can't I click on "Fix"?

Download and run HIJACKTHIS:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/HijackThis.exe

Save the log file to your desktop, open it with notepad and copy and paste the file here for one of our HJT log file techs to look it over.
