I have joined a knitting site on-line.  They offer free knitting patterns but say that you must install Adobe Acrobat first, and tell you to click above to install, but there is nothing above to click...they must have forgotten to put it on!  I found an Adobe Acrobat free download site, and tried to download it. But an hour later the little icon was still moving and saying "download in progress" but it didn't seem to want to stop! I finally got fed up...I don't think it was downloading at all...surely it wouldn't take that long! Is Adobe Acrobat something that will give me problems?  Any advice on how I can download it or if I should.  And if I do eventually get it downloaded, will it kick in and open files automatically if they need that particular reader?

I tried to phone the Yarn Company but I can't seem to have any luck and they don't supply an email contact.

Can anybody help?

Thanks.

Here's a link to Adobe Acrobat 5.1.

Downloading is pretty straight forward. You should have no probs.

There is new Version out but you are running Win98ME and I would suggest using it.

Hope this helps.

Dear Cactus:

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  I downloaded from the link that you sent and it worked great Grin.     Now I can open the free pattern and see the instructions for knitting my little Shih Tzu a sweater.

I spent hours this morning trying to download Adobe  Sad  ...with no luck, but after hearing from you, it was as easy as pie  Smiley.

Have a great evening and thanks so much.
