OS = XP HOME
PROBLEMS = ANY VIRUS/SPYWARE SOFTWARE

Hi. I really need some help here. My client is expecting her laptop back tonight and I need an answer. Each time she attempts to run a system scan using NAV, the laptop crashes near the end of the scan. Complete power down, no error messages, no shutdown screens, just OFF. Other programs run without problem, and the laptop will stay on indefinitely unless I run the security programs. The programs that have failed so far, all towards the end are Norton AV, AVG, and spybot. I am happy to post a hijack log if anyone thinks they might be able to help. Please, please, have an answer! Richard
