Hi
I have had partial success in installing an older ATX baby motherboard into an old case. The jumpers were all preset for an AMD K6 500Mhz CPU. The only information on the motherboard is as follows:
MS 5191 Ver 1.1 AMC. and N1996 (this may be year of manufacture Huh?
The board came out of a computer manufactured by Time Computers U.K. They no longer support this machines with this board in them, in addition they will not supply me with any info.I need to know the pin connections for the Hdd Led, Reset, Power etc on the board. Has anyone come across a board manufactured by a company called AMC and is there a way of determining these connections without the Mb Manual.
Any help appreciated
Regards to All

Hi,

My brother gave his old Time computer to see if I could fix it and I've found that it had the same mobo you mentioned here. I've searched all over the internet for a manual or even the specifications of the board and I can't find it anywhere. I also need a sound driver for the built-in sound but I can't find that anywhere either. I'll keep searching and I'll let you know if I come across anything.

Hi,
The board is manufactured by MSI and the manual for the 5191 Mb is available on MSI website. It can be downloaded from Micro Star International website at the address shown below.
http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/manual/mnu/spt_mnu_detail.php?UID=234
The board is almost identical except the MS-5191 ver 1.1 has the floppy disk connector in a different location on the Mb and their is no ISA slot.
The cable connections I believe are the same. Anyway it worked for me.
Regards
