PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:Windows XP PRO
Problem Application Name & Version: IE 6.0 and msn messenger
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

okay now I go to geton the internet and it only goes to my home page and thats it.  I try to log onto my msn messenger and it says that i can't cause i'm beind a firewall. I don't know if I have one I am pretty sure I don't i used it before with no prolem ... just all of a suden the computer decided not to let me do what I wanted. I can't go to web pages or anything . PLEEASE HELP! I am on my brother in-laws computer right now I am connected to him cable conection through a router. but nothing has canged I just turned it on and like I said it just won't let me do what i usually do.

It seems that you have some remaining files from a firewall. If you had a virus program installed before, you must check if it was corectly uninstalled. You can maybe remove this files by using Windows Washer:
