When playing music on my machine, I use Winamp (www.winamp.com) as an alternative to Windows Media Player 9, which I find is bloated and cumbersome.  When playing a CD through Winamp, the software gives you the oppertunity to rip from the cd to MP3 on your hard drive.  I'm now sure if Winamp is capable of converting .wav files on your hard drive to MP3 though.

This is a PC Help Forum....not a site for cracks.
