Operating System Version:Windows 98
Ok, on different sites and when I sign on to aim, sometimes a message pops up that says
"Install on demand[Internet Explorer)" at the top
"to display this page correctly you need to install and download the following componets:
Loading..please wait"
But then another window pops up and says
"Installation of the componet failed. please try again later or choose 'Windows Update' from the 'tools' menu to install this componet"

What does this mean? I tried clicking on the windows updat. It takes me to the site and says it has to do a system check or something to see what it needs to update, but it just stays at o%. I have left the computer on for over an hour, but it didnt move, and the page was done loading. Does anyone know what this means or what I can do?

Install On Demand(Internet Explorer)
Install On Demand (Other)

Click APPLY
Click OK

What version of Internet Explorer are you using?
Click HELP at top of Browser then About Internet Explorer.
The Version should be displayed right there.
