PLEASE SUPPLY RELEVANT INFORMATION:
Operating System Version:
Problem Application Name & Version:
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages:

we had spyware in our computer, which we downloaded adaware to correct. ever since then i cant get past the log-in page on hotmail, and i'm getting the exact same problem with several other sites. whats worse, my peer to peer programs won't connect to the internet even though i have a dsl connection. i also can't use my itunes radio! otherwise i can use the internet as normal. we tried hijackthis and it didn't work. we tried to do a system restore but the earliest restore date is after the damage was done (why is that??). does ANYONE have any suggestions! i'm going crazy!

Have you checked all your network settings? From my knowledge (an d usage) of Ad-Aware, I doubt that's the problem, unless you allowed it to remove a registry entry or something that triggered this problem.

Have you checked your hosts file to see if it was hijacked at all?
