Uninstall Backweb - it's NBU anyhow - unless you really need it

NoelMVP,

What is backweb?  and would I need it?  Also, what is "NBU" as you stated?

Thanks

http://www.backweb.com/ ... seems to be an offline webbrowser option. But it's added to some other software as well. Kodak for instance has it included in their digicam & webcam software.

It can then easily be classified as spyware. So uninstall Backweb (it'll probably live in Add/Remove Programs), then download, install, update and run adaware 6, spybot search & destroy 1.3 and spywareblaster.
http://pcf.mundayweb.com/index.php?view=106 for a nice grouping of all of them by link.

I was have the same Runner Error, Invalid Backweb application #7288971. It turned out to be the Kodak Software Updater in the Startup group. Deleted the entry and the error went away.
