Win XP having problem along with many others with a .dll file in system 32 folder, did have aboutblank, but using info read here that appears to be gone but it comes back and my AV software picks the winf.dll as a backdoor trojan from what i've read this is the file i need to delete along with the hidden file which aswell. I'm at work so do not have the hijack log but can post it later....I've done aboutbuster but as it needs to run in safe mode the winf.dll isnt there in safe mode...My other main problem is that i cannot log in as administrator. Pretty sure thats the story so far all help greatfully accepted. The winf.dll isnt deletable in normal mode and isnt there in safe mode please help!!!

Would you please download Hijackthis---Important---Create a permanent folder hijackthis
EG---- Open MyDocuments----Right click an empty spot and select NEW---Folder----Name the new folder HJT ---this is where you will want to save Hijackthis too, also, backups will be stored there.

Do a SCAN----Scan will change to SAVE LOG----copy and paste the WHOLE contents of the log
here... Don't try and fix anything yet----It is all important
