Operating System Version: windows xp
Problem Application Name & Version: internet explorer
Problem Hardware Make & Model:
Error Messages: page cannot be displayed

i cannot access any websites with internet explorer or connect to the norton liveupdate, sign on to msn messenger or download music from musicmatch jukebox. IE always says "page cannot be displayed" when i type in a web address. i am running netscape navigator and it has no problems loading pages. internet explorer and the other programs act as if they don't recognize the connection to the internet. thanks for the help

If you are not using a firewall, try this:

Download the updates
